About the work
This gorgeous print is one of only five printed on Old Vergé paper (aside from the main edition of 50 copies printed on velin d’Arches and copies on Japon). From a suite of seven engravings on copper plate “printed at the expense of an amateur”. When published in 1948, the suite on Arches was sold for Francs 250 and the suites on Japon were sold for Francs 375. Custom framed using strictly conservation grade materials behind 99% UV-blocking art glass. Accompanied by the publisher’s paper wrapper.
